The earth is my home and nature is my inspiration.
In 2012 year I found my first meteorite, Since then space and extraterrestrial matter have been my passion.
My name is Kryspin Kmieciak and I travel around the world and look for these amazing rocks. I would to share a part of life with you.
I come from Poland, the beautiful city of Śrem. I’m a landspace architekt by profession. I love explore and discover, also support science and research, it’s important to me.
I have a desire to uncover the universe and meteorites are part of it. I’m also a member of the Polish Meteorite Society.
Meteoroid is defined as piece of metal or rock and other material that present in the solar system. Some come from comets, others from asteroids, and some even come from the Moon and other planets like Mars
When meteoroids enter Earth’s atmosphere at high speed and burn up, the fireballs or „shooting stars” are called meteors, when a meteoroid survives a trip through the atmosphere and hits the ground it’s called a meteorite

Asteroid BX1 fell Germany! it’s fragment of are a rare meteorite Aubrite! Classified as Ribbeck meteorite. I was lucky to find the largest fragment of this fall, the main mass weighing 225 grams!
Meteorites can be found in Europe, but finding stones in the grass, forest and field is not easy. Sometimes I’m looking for 100 grams of rock over a distance of 10 kilometers or more. it’s not easy, right?
In the picture meteorite Antonin, fell on July 15, 2021 year. it is an Ordinary Chondrite L4-L5, weighing 351.6 grams. Found in Poland, August 3, 2021 year
